How to apply Animation in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007

Applying Custom Animation
  • In the Slides tab, choose the object you want to add animation.



  • In the Animation Tab, click the Custom Animation in Animations Group. The Custom Animation Task Pane will appear at the right side of the screen.



  •  On your slide, click the object you want to add animation.
  •  On the Custom Animation Task Pane, click the button “Add Effect”.

-         
  • Click the drop down arrow and click the type of animation you want to apply.



  • Click More Effect to see more effect you can use in your object.


  • PowerPoint will apply be apply on the selected object you choose in the presentation, and will display the preview in the slide pane.
  • To preview all the animation together, click the Play button at the bottom of Custom Animation Task Pane.

Comparison between Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 and 2010 Animation Tab

       PowerPoint Animation allows to insert animation in every slide of your presentation. By the use of animation tab, it makes the presentation slides to view more presentable and exciting.

      The object can animate by using the four(4) types of animation the : Entrance, Emphasis, Exit, and  Motion Path Animation.
-Entrance Animation determines which object appears on screen.
-Emphasis Animation use to focus on one object.
-Exit Animation determines which object will leave the slides.
-Motion Path use to show how the object moves around the slide.

      In PowerPoint 2007 the Animation and Transition are combine in one tab the Animations Tab.

      In PowerPoint 2010 the Animation and Transition are separated. The Animation is in Animations Tab and the Transition is in Transitions Tab.
